Resource Library (KG–Grade 12)

What it does

A shared shelf of teaching books and materials organised by grade — PDFs, PowerPoint slides, and short videos.

How to use it

  1. Open Resource Library from the dashboard (all grades), or from the classroom (only your assigned grades).
  2. Upload a resource: a front-cover image (PNG or JPG), the grade, the title, and your content — a PDF, a PowerPoint, or a video up to 15 minutes.
  3. Teacher uploads appear once the admin approves them; admin uploads are published instantly.
  4. Search by title or grade, open or download resources, and see how often each one is used.

What it does

Brings core classroom records and day-to-day science teaching tools into one workspace — rosters, live participation points, timers, and more.

How to use it

  1. Open Classroom Tools from the dashboard.
  2. Choose the class, student, subject, or record you need.
  3. Assign unassigned students to a class from the Unassigned card.
  4. Tap any student to award participation points — or tap the gear (⚙️) to customise behaviour parameters and point values (the admin sets the general set for all teachers).
  5. Review saved changes before leaving the page.

Google Classroom

Phase 1 · Read only

What it does

Securely connects an intended Google teaching account to show real active courses the teacher teaches and their published classwork inside SciEngage Pro.

How to use it

  1. Sign in to SciEngage Pro and open Google Classroom.
  2. Select Connect Google Classroom, choose the intended Google teaching account, and review the read-only permissions.
  3. View active teacher courses, then open a course to view published classwork and Classroom links.
  4. Use Disconnect to revoke Google access and remove the encrypted connection. Roster import, publishing, submissions, and grade return are not included in Phase 1.

Google Classroom Phase 1 status

Genuine Google OAuth and Classroom API access is live. Signed-in teachers can securely connect or disconnect an intended Google teaching account and view real active courses they teach and published classwork. Phase 1 is read-only: it does not import rosters, create or publish assignments, read student submissions, or return grades.
